Aceitunas Torrent has adopted the family name not only as a corporate brand, but also as its flagship trademark, with the firm intention of associating it with the highest quality Spanish table olives.

This is how Aceitunas Torrent began to reach and consolidate itself in a large number of countries, at the same time as the other family brands such as Olivalife, Bostoliva, Samaoliva and Privilegio, saw the light of day in response to the growing demand for olives and ither products.

The Torrent 1898 brand, under whose umbrella the gourmet range is marketed, celebrates the history and dedication to olive growing of the Torrent family, generation after generation.

Very recently, in 2021 and 2022 respectively, we created Oliva Clan and The Coolives, the youngest and most innovative brands of Aceitunas Torrent, which imbue the Torrent product portfolio with dynamism and emotion.

Aceitunas Torrent is also proud to be the manufacturer of some of the most demanding private label brands on the market.

Aceitunas Torrent has a brand architecture designed to adapt its product to a diverse international market in which the demands differ based on varying criteria such as culture and customs, religion or language.

The traditional portfolio includes names such as: Torrent, Olivalife, Sama Oliva, Bostoliva and Privilegio Al-Andalus.

In the area of innovation offer Oliva Clan and The Coolives as some of the most disruptive creations on the market: flavoured olives in snack format.

Torrent

Torrent is the first commercial brand of Aceitunas Torrent. With years of history, this brand is distributed throughout much of the world in a multitude of canned and glass formats and with different olive presentations It was Francisco Torrent Terol, the founder of Aceitunas Torrent, who, at the end of the 19th century, gave life to what would become the main commercial brand of olives with no idea that, more than 100 years later, it would still be going strong and would have gained a large market share worldwide. After several makeovers, the Torrent brand still retains its essence, maintaining a typography similar to the original, with a refined image that evokes that created in its day by the first generation. Thus, the modern brand nods to its origins, combining tradition and vanguard in a logo with renewed shapes and colours.

Torrent 1898

The gourmet extra virgin olive oil comes from the olive groves of the Torrent family and is made from a ‘coupage’ of the best varieties of extra virgin olive oil from our production. It is marketed so that the most demanding palates can enjoy this limited edition. Since 1898, the Torrent family has also produced different formats of extra virgin olive oil, as well as pomace oil under the brand TORRENT 1898.

Olivalife

Olivalife has a contemporary design and a fresh and clean image. Everyone loves the name, as it invites you to lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Olivalife promotes a taste for Mediterranean foods, especially Spanish green and black olives. This brand was designed for the international market, which is already very aware of and values the taste of Mediterranean products. In Olivalife, our customers find the maximum expression of the taste of Spanish table olives.

Sama Oliva

The traditional yet avant-garde design of Sama Oliva invites us to dream. It brings back memories in honour of the Arab Caliphate of Cordoba, without losing an ounce of freshness. Green and black olives, a symbol of healthy living. Now five years old, Sama Oliva is our youngest brand. Sama, which means sky in Arabic, combines tradition and modernity in a can with a more ground-breaking design, featuring a mesh of olives in geometric shapes that covers the entire can.

Bostoliva

This brand of Aceitunas Torrent is an ode to the olive tree. Bostoliva means forest of olive trees, like the landscapes that abound in Andalusia and that we enjoy during our travels around the region. The use of the word ‘bosto’, which means garden in Arabic, pays homage to our customers in Arabic, an important destination for our products. The influence of Mediterranean culture on the gastronomic habits of the Middle East is reflected in Bostoliva, the best choice for enjoying our olives.
